Account Manager
As an Account Manager your priority will be to maximize sales within your territory. This position is ideal for anyone with prior sales experience in the life sciences industry or scientists with practical experience, who have a successful track record as sales professional. This position requires travelling to BIOBASE customer sites within Europe.
- Negotiate contracts and close orders to achieve BIOBASE’s business plan and growth targets
- Manage customer relationships, communicate product and service advantages to potential customers
- Ensure long-term customer satisfaction
- Work closely with other members of the sales and support team to ensure customer and company expectations are met
- Contribute to the development of a dynamically growing company by being a team player willing to help out beyond the sales role
REQUIREMENTS
- Outgoing personality
- Excellent communication skills in English & German
- Ability to self manage and self motivate
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of business
- Flexibility to work outside of normal office hours
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages, prepare presentations
- Ability to achieve targets

Senior Software Developer
Design and implement software to analyze massive data sets in an agile environment. Have passion for writing great, well-segmented code that delivers results. Our technology is web-service based architecture with Perl, Catalyst, nosql and relational databases (redis, mongodb, mysql) on unix, in the cloud on Amazon, using Ajax, JavaScript and CSS for interfaces. Added plus if interest in genetics and have technology experience in listed technology.
REQUIREMENTS
- Routine use of programming best practices
- Architect-ed and implemented a large object oriented system
- 4+ years of experience in software development
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent
- Problem solving and strong English skills
