After many years of dedication and highly valued contributions, Dr. Edgar Wingender, one of the founders of BIOBASE, has moved from the position of CSO to the board of directors. He, and the former head of research and development, Dr. Alexander Kel, will take their expertise to a newly founded company focusing on personalized pharmacogenomics, and will remain closely tied to BIOBASE.
BIOBASE will concentrate on product management and scientific development with a new team consisting of Dr. Frank Schacherer as the Chief Operations Officer, who has been a key contributor to BIOBASE management since 2005, and established product management and development experts Jennifer Hogan, Volker Matys, and Philip Stegmaier, as well as our new custom curation manager, Jesintha Maniraja.
